Stacy J. Vasquez is a senior healthcare executive, entrepreneur, and former Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Senior Executive Service (SES) leader with more than 28 years of federal service. She served as CEO of the Birmingham VA Health Care System, overseeing a $650 million annual operating budget, more than 2,600 employees, 68,000 Veterans, and a 129-bed tertiary medical center with nine outpatient clinics. Previously, she served as CEO of the Beckley VA Health Care System and held senior leadership positions in VA policy, healthcare operations, congressional affairs, and Veterans’ programs.

Today, Stacy is the owner of WoVets Partners LLC, an SDVOSB/EDWOSB healthcare consulting firm focused on innovative Veteran healthcare solutions, strategic partnerships, and successful delivery of complex opportunities. She also serves as an executive consultant with Potomac Ridge Consulting, advising public- and private-sector healthcare leaders and Fortune 500 companies on complex healthcare and benefits challenges.

Stacy holds a Master’s degree in Legislative Affairs from George Washington University, a Bachelor of Science from the University of Houston, and completed executive education through the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, Harvard Kennedy School, and the University of North Carolina. She has been recognized as a HillVets 100 honoree and has received numerous military and professional awards.
